Welcome to our second newsletter.
Due to the current circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, we have included lots of information and tips to help you support your child with home learning and a feature article on preparing your child for the transition back to school. Follow the links below.
During these strange times we are not able to offer face to face meetings, but our service remains available to families and young people via our phone lines and email addresses and you can find lots of information on our website (opens in a new window), Facebook page (opens in a new window) and Twitter feed (opens in a new window). We are here to provide free, impartial information, advice and support on all matters relating to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Please get in touch if we can help. You can find all our contact details on our website (opens in a new window).
Lots of exciting things have happened at SENDIASS Worcestershire since our last newsletter. Back in April we merged with SENDIASS Herefordshire to launch our new website and social media platforms under the name HW SENDIASS.
We have worked hard with families from both Herefordshire and Worcestershire to ensure that the website www.hwsendiass.co.uk has relevant information that is easily accessible. You can find fact sheets, newsletters and other resources to help you navigate your SEND journey.
We really hope that this new website will make information around SEND more accessible to families across the two counties and we welcome your feedback to email@example.com. We’d love to hear your ideas about what other information would be useful on the website or future newsletters.
We really hope that you are all managing to keep safe during these challenging times and we hope that the information and articles below offer some support.
